I’m not talking about what marketing is. The most important thing is how to make your online store can sell your products. This is the most important part of marketing. I leave the “Marketing Theory” to the expert.
When you finished your online store you have to let people know that your online store is “live” and you are ready to serve them. It means you should spread the news about your online store.
There are so many ways to spread the news:
1.Email
This is the easiest way to spread the news. Open your contact list on your email account and send your friends or your business partner the news.
2. Add URL
Submit your URL to Google, Yahoo and other search engine. Most of them are free. Try to find it with your favorite search engine.
3. Free Ad
There are plenty of free ad service out there. Craiglist is the famous one.
4. Social Networking
You can send the news about your online store from your social networking website such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter
5. Social Bookmarking
Digg it or de.li.ci.ous are an example of social bookmarking media that you can use.
5. Forum
Use some forum to spread the news. You can use your signature part of your ad. DigitalPoint is one of the favorite forum.
6. PPC
Most of them are free, but with PPC you have to pay some money. Go to Google Adwords to find out more.
7. Offline Ad
Most of them are paid ad services. But this type of ad also good for spread the news. You can use TV, Radio, Newspaper and Magazine as your media.
Those are some tips to spread the news about your new online store. The main goal of Marketing is Sales. How to reach the goal is by advertise it. Don’t hide it or just let it run by itself. Let people know, and let the Ad bring them to you.
With free online store you can use those tips to increasing sales. But some of free online store has been take care of all that, but they don’t give good result if we just let them do it.
