Extendy Toolbar Plugin For WordPress
Bootpress has been invited by Extendy.com to use their new toolbar plugin. And I have tried and installed this new feature on this blog.
Basicly Extendy toolbar plugin is more like Facebook toolbar. There are some menus on the plugin that we can use just like we use Facebook toolbar. We can add our menu from our account and we also can add some buttons that we like. But of course Facebook has more features on their toolbar.
We can change the color of the toolbar and make it more match with our blog color. This is how the Extendy toolbar looklike.

You can disable the share button (on the left toolbar) or enable it. I believe this plugin is still in beta version. There are no share buttons (social bookmarking plugin) on this blog toolbar. I prefer to disable it from my toolbar because this blog already has the share button on every pages and posts.

If you feel this toolbar really annoying when you visit a blog with this toolbar in it, you can minimize it by clicking the tiny arrow on the right of the toolbar.
When I tried to click a button (except Twitter and Rss) it opened on a new tab, and the rest of the button opened on the same tab, didn’t open a new one. This is what happened when I tried those buttons. I’m not sure what happened. Maybe they make it works like that intentionally.
Ussualy we use our sidebar to display our Twitter update and any kind of ads links, with Extendy toolbar plugin you can save space on your blog.
Personally, I’m not sure to keep this toolbar or remove it. I will keep it for a few days to see what benefit is using this new plugin on my blog.

I decide to remove my own “share button” and use Extendy’s. There is also a comment from Mason about the subject.

We’d love for you to give feedback about things you like and don’t like about Extendy (expected behavior, perceived bugs, etc). That’s what beta testers are for.
The Share menu should pop up with a few options based on your browsing habits. If it’s not showing up, that’s a bug.
